Return & Warranty Policy

(Custom Made Curtains & Blinds)

1. Nature of Our Products

All curtains, sheers, blinds and motorised systems supplied by NovaFab Curtains & Blinds are custom-made to order based on approved measurements, fabric selections and specifications.

As our products are made specifically for each client, they cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

2. Change of Mind

Due to the bespoke nature of our products:

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

  • We do not accept returns on custom-made items once production has commenced.

  • Fabric selections and specifications must be carefully reviewed and approved prior to order confirmation.

We strongly encourage clients to finalise selections with confidence before confirming their order.

3. Manufacturing Faults

If a product is found to have a manufacturing fault, we will:

  • Repair the item, or

  • Replace the affected component, or

  • Provide a suitable remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Any manufacturing concerns must be reported within 7 days of installation.

4. 5-Year Fabric Warranty

We provide a 5-year warranty on curtain and sheer fabrics covering:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Structural fabric faults

  • Stitching defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse or accidental damage

  • Sun damage outside reasonable exposure expectations

  • Improper cleaning methods

5. 1-Year Installation Aftercare

We offer complimentary installation aftercare for 12 months from installation date, including:

  • Minor adjustments

  • Track realignment

  • Motor recalibration (where applicable)

This ensures your curtains continue to operate smoothly after installation.

6. Motorised Systems Warranty

Motorised systems are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

If a motor fails within the warranty period:

  • We will coordinate replacement

  • Labour for replacement within the first year is included

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
