Simple DIY steps for a perfect finish
What you’ll need
- Drill & drill bits
- Screws and wall/ceiling plugs (depending on surface)
- Screwdriver
- Tape measure & pencil
- Step ladder
- Spirit level (recommended)
A. Face Fix (Wall Mount)
Steps 1: Mark position – Measure and mark your track width. Allow equal spacing for brackets (~600–800 mm apart).
Step 2: Drill holes – Drill pilot holes and insert wall plugs if fixing into plaster or brick.
Step 3: Install brackets – Screw brackets firmly into place, check they’re level.
Step 4: Fit track – Clip the curtain track into the brackets.
Step 5: Hang curtains – Insert hooks into track gliders and space evenly.
B. Top Fix (Ceiling Mount)
Best for: square set ceilings (no cornice), creating a modern hotel-style floor-to-ceiling look.
Step 1: Mark position – Measure and mark screw points directly on the ceiling, spaced 600–800 mm apart.
Step 2: Drill holes – Drill pilot holes and use ceiling plugs as required.
Step 3: Install brackets – Fix ceiling brackets securely.
Step 4: Fit track – Clip the track into place.
Step 5: Hang curtains – Hook curtains into gliders, adjust spacing for neat pleats.
Finishing Touches
-
Curtains should hover 10–15 mm above the floor, or follow your chosen finish (kiss, break, or puddle).
-
Steam or iron curtains after hanging for a crisp, professional look.
-
For motorised tracks, follow the included setup guide.
